Charity Christmas Tour Leipzig
Did you know that Leipzig has one of the oldest Christmas markets? It dates back to year 1458! “Leipziger Weihnachtsmarkt” with its approximately 300 stalls makes it also one of the biggest Christmas markets in Germany. In this tour, we will explain you the history of the Market and the Christmas trees, as well as the German Christmas traditions. At the same time, we will talk about our favorite topic: food and drinks! We will show you all different types of specialities, from Kartoffelpuffer to Christstollen, and there will be many stops for the best drink: Glühwein!
This year we decided to contribute a bit to our community so we are organizing our first Charity Christmas Tour. There is no fixed price! You can pay as much as you want and all the money we collect will go to the charity organization SOS-Kinderdörfer, which helps children to find a safe home.
